New Girl
Author: Paige Harbison

I’m still halfway through the book but I’m enjoying it. The mystery and the secrets are so intriguing that sometimes it made me a bit scary and nervous even though I’m not sure if this book is supposed to be scary. There’s no scary moments, but my mind is giving me some weird ideas about the book. Honestly, I haven’t read any reviews prior to my reading, I don’t want to spoil it. This is making me even more curious and intrigued to discover the truth behind the story. I’m excited to know and I hope to finish it. I will post my review once I’m done.

By the way, have you seen my review on FIRST DATE? It’s my first book review for 2012. It was good and you can read my thoughts here.

This week I’m not sure what to read next. I’ll probably choose one from the books below (click the book to read the synopsis in Goodreads):

Shadow Kiss by Richelle Mead (on my shelf since July 2011), Silence by Becca Fitzpatrick (on my shelf since October 2011). Blue Sky Days by Marie Landry is part of the tour that I’d be joining this month and I received this book from the author herself.
How’s your TBR pick last week? and how’s the first week of 2012? I hope everyone is doing great. I’m looking forward to your TBR IC post today. Let’s hop! =)

  1. Oooo…. so New Girl looks interesting. I don't know anything about it, though I've seen the super intriguing cover floating around. Is it a paranormal? A contemp?

As for your next pick, I vote for Silence. I'm dying to read it, but it's gonna be a while before I get to it. Hope you had a great holiday! 🙂

  2. I'm so glad to hear you're enjoying New Girl! It does sound interesting, that's for sure. I'll be looking forward to your review!

Your choices for the upcoming week seem to be interesting, too. I haven't read any of them yet, but… Silence is on my “I should probably get around to read this series” pile. Most people have loved it. I just can't get over his name. I mean… Patch makes me think of patchwork quilts.

So, yes. I'd love to hear your thoughts on that one, see if I'm swayed 🙂 But you do have to finish the one for the tour (actually, my TBR IC ran into a conflict with an upcoming tour, too…)

Whatever you choose, I hope you'll enjoy it!

    Happy weekend, happy reading!

  3. New girls really sounds interesting, I added it now to my list.

I saw you are in the VA sries… I haven't read the second yet, but if you choose it, it will be fine. But I think you have to try Silence.

    Have a nice week!
    Happy reading!!
