I committed My Soul to Save and promised to finish Touch in my last TBRIC. I’m done with Touch last night, but I haven’t even started My Soul To Save :,( So, I guess it’ll still be my book for this coming week.

I liked and enjoyed Touch by Jus Accardo, but it wasn’t the kind of book I expected it to be. It was good but I’m still undecided about the rating yet. I’m still waiting for it to really sink in. I wish I could love this book as much as everybody does so I can give this a 5/5 but maybe 3 or 4 or in between… Hmm. It’s hard for me to rate this book! Review will be up soon, I hope 😛

Touch (Denazen #1)
by Jus Accardo
When a strange boy tumbles down a river embankment and lands at her feet, seventeen-year-old adrenaline junkie Deznee Cross snatches the opportunity to piss off her father by bringing the mysterious hottie with ice blue eyes home.
Except there’s something off with Kale. He wears her shoes in the shower, is overly fascinated with things like DVDs and vases, and acts like she’ll turn to dust if he touches her. It’s not until Dez’s father shows up, wielding a gun and knowing more about Kale than he should, that Dez realizes there’s more to this boy—and her father’s “law firm”—than she realized.
Kale has been a prisoner of Denazen Corporation—an organization devoted to collecting “special” kids known as Sixes and using them as weapons—his entire life. And, oh yeah, his touch? It kills. The two team up with a group of rogue Sixes hellbent on taking down Denazen before they’re caught and her father discovers the biggest secret of all. A secret Dez has spent her life keeping safe.

I haven’t even started this book… I know, I feel bad about it, but I’ve been too occupied and I had a hard time getting into my books last week. So, this week, it’s still my book to commit. I hope I’d be able to read and finish it this time.

  1. Hmmm… I'm so curious to read your review for TOUCH now. Everyone I've read has raved about that book. It'll be interesting to see what you decide and why. 🙂

And don't feel bad about not starting your TBRIC book. I didn't either… I mean, I didn't start mine. You did knock one book off your TBR last week! I think that's a win 🙂

  2. Glad you were able to finish Touch. I liked it but I am not wild about the Soul Screamers Series. I am going to keep going because EVERYONE but my loves them. Oh well! I guess they keep getting better. Hope you like them.

  3. Oooh… I'll wait for your opinion on Touch. I like the guy on the cover (not so much the cover for the sequel, but that's another story) and I'm super curious about it.

I hope you'll like My Soul to Save. I want to know what you think of that one… it might make you want to hit Kaylee over the head!

    Happy reading, April!
