Did you fall in love with The English Brothers? Were you hot for the Winslows? Katy Regnery’sNew York Times bestselling Blueberry Lane series continues with The Rousseau siblings in Summer 2016!

Jacqueline “Jax” Rousseau is vivacious, rich, smart and beautiful…but that doesn’t mean she’s lucky in love: she’s dated doctors, lawyers, actors and politicians who’ve all managed to end up disappointing her. In fact, she’s on a self-imposed hiatus from love when she has an unpleasant run-in with her neighbor’s gorgeous new landscaper, Gardener Lenox. Jax is not accustomed to gruff, ill-mannered men that can’t be charmed, but when he saves her skin, she realizes that something about Gard intrigues her…and if she can find her way through the armor that surrounds his heart, she might finally find a love that won’t let her down.

I always believe that in what seems like an ordinary life, there are extraordinary moments waiting to happen. Just like this book, it seemed like an ordinary story with ordinary characters. Then slowly and gently, they touched you in a special way until it is etched in your heart. What seemed to be a light and fast read, became something extraordinary and remarkable. You know that book that is simple and an easy-read, when you close the book you thought it was done? Then in your ordinary day, it will just pop in your mind? It’s that kind of book.

Jax and Gard are like two birds without wings. When they found each other, it was like each of them were given a pair and suddenly they know how to fly… together.

I didn’t like Jax much in the beginning until Chapter 6. The moment she walked up to Gard’s cottage holding a pack of Abita along with the hope that Gard will not send her away.

Jax–an award winning Hollywood producer, beautiful, and rich. A girl who used to get what she wants, walking up to a gardener’s cottage, trying to convince a man that he needs her.

“…like a burst of something very sweet and very bright in a dark, bitter life. Like a jonquil. Like a kiss of bright orange in the middle of quiet white.”

Gard–this beautiful man who didn’t think he’s worthy of a Jaqueline Rousseau, is an epitome of a great man who will do anything for the girl he loves. I just wish I’ve seen more of Gard’s life– with his family or an old life, nevertheless, this man with a big heart needs more love and affection than what he has been given.

Katy Regnery’s beautiful writing can easily transport readers to Blueberry Lane which will no doubt give the readers a nostalgic feeling and warmth.

Jonquils for Jax is a light, sweet, inspiring, fun read. If you need a book that will make you feel like you’re on a peaceful vacation and having your own solitude somewhere in the middle of a quiet, beautiful place… this is the right book to pick. It’s the kind of book that you wanna read during the day while lying on a hammock with fresh air on your face, the wind lightly blowing through your hair, or at night under the moonlit sky. Definitely one of the sweetest books I ever came across. It’s the “jonquil” for every reader’s life. You know, that bright orange in the middle of our quiet white?
