Review Policy

Dear Authors/Publishers, 
Books 4 Juliet is currently NOT accepting book review requests at this time. 


I love reading and this is the reason why I put up my own blog site. Sharing my thoughts about the books I read, I find, and I own with people who enjoy books as much, is one of the best part of being a reader and a blogger. I blog for fun and enjoyment, and I intend to keep it that way.

I  would love to accept request for reviews (pre-release or finished copies) from Authors and Publishers but only for books that I think I will enjoy. I read both fiction and non-fiction, but I don’t accept request for non-fiction books.


I accept reviews on Young Adult Literature such as but not limited to:

  • Chick Lit
  • Dystopian
  • Fantasy (Urban Fantasy, Historical Fantasy)
  • Romance (Contemporary Romance, Paranormal Romance)
  • Mythology
  • Religious and Inspirational Fiction

I don’t read horror, erotica or any murder/crime novels.


Don’t send me the book until I replied to your request. I only accept PDF/eBooks if I think it’s worth reading in my Kindle. I do prefer hard copies—ARC, Galleys, or already published books, because it’s  easier to read and it would be priceless to add them to my book collection =) Nevertheless, I don’t require them since it might cost you much on the shipping fee (since I live in the Philippines).

My reviews are based on my honest opinions and thoughts. I don’t write reviews to please authors and I also don’t want to compromise the trust I get from my readers. Every book deserves an honest review and I will write honestly and as coherent as possible. If I hate the book, I prefer not to write anything about it, I hate writing negative reviews especially if the book is requested by the author herself/himself. I will inform you if I end up not liking the book or if can’t finish it at all, and won’t write anything bad that may ruin your book’s reputation.

My To-Be-Read List is continuously growing, so I have the rights to decline a request when I know that I can no longer accommodate another. As I’ve mentioned, I read for pleasure and enjoyment, and I don’t want to take away the fun I get in reading and blogging. I can’t give a specific time/date as when I will going finish a book and make a review. It all depends on my current reading schedule, except if it is pre-released, then I will take time to consider reading it first before it’s release date/deadline.
